Make Valentine's Day Special by making a batch of beautiful sugar cookies for the ones you love!

Mix all ingredients together and roll with rolling pin to about 1/8" thickness. Cut heart shapes with cookie cutter or with knife. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees about 5-8 minutes.

1/2 cup butter

1 cup sugar

1 egg

2 T milk

1/2 tsp vanilla

2 cups flour

1/2 tsp salt

2 T baking powder

For Iced Cookies:

1/3 cup butter

4 cups confectioner sugar, sifted

1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

2 T heavy cream or milk

Food Coloring    

(Add to small portions of icing, making different colors. Pour each color icing into a small ziplock bag and snip a tiny piece from a corner, so you can squeeze to decorate cookies).
